Aulus Cornelius Celsus (ca 25 BC—ca 50), who lived in the first century AD, described plastic surgery of the face, using skin from other parts of the body.




Sir Archibald McIndoe CBE FRCS (4 May 1900 — 11 April 1960) was a pioneering New Zealand plastic surgeon who worked for the Royal Air Force during World War II. He greatly improved the treatment and rehabilitation of badly burned aircrew.


2011 Society Christmas Dinner

We are coming towards Christmas and it is time to celebrate. The Society has made arrangements again this year for a Dinner Party and all members and trainees are invited.

Time: 7:00 for 7:30 p.m.
Venue: The Dining Room, Aberdeen Marina Club, 8 Shum Wan Road, Aberdeen.
Attire: Casual elegant
This year’s entertainment session is to be Quiz & Prizes, which should boost the fun and laughter. There will be nothing related to work nor politics. Allow me therefore to urge everyone of you to come together for a grand re-union and share the joy.
