Body Contouring

Purpose

To correct figure faults caused by localised fat deposits.

Details

The means to achieving body contouring may be by liposuction or excisional surgery or a combination of the 2.

Depending on the particular indications in a patient, tummy tuck and/or various lift procedures are sometimes necessary.

The magnitude of an intervention will therefore vary according to the needs in an individual case.

Information on the various procedures mentioned can be found under the corresponding topic.

Caution

Body contouring procedures are not weight reduction procedures. They are procedures to remedy excess localised fat deposits to achieve a better outline and figure for the body.
