The Hong Kong Society of Plastic and Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons, founded in 1967, is a non-profit making professional organization established with the aim to promote education, training and research in the field of plastic surgery, not only amongst its members but also colleagues from other specialties. Throughout the years, the Society has sponsored many academic activities organized by the tertiary institutions in Hong Kong. In addition, the Society also organize educational programmes for the public to promote awareness of the specialty.

Internationally, the Society has affiliations with many societies including the Oriental Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (OSAPS), International Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (IPRAS) and International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS).
